What is a Kidney Transplant?   A kidney transplant is a surgical procedure to place a well-functioned kidney from a living or a deceased person into a person whose kidney no longer works efficiently. Kidneys play an important role in maintaining our bodily fluids and balancing electrolyte. A kidney transplant is considered when kidneys stop working entirely.     Procedures for a Kidney transplant   With advancements in medical science, a good surgeon can now safely implant a donated kidney into a patients body suffering from Kidney Failure. The procedure usually involves three steps : 1)      Firstly incision takes place and a cut is made in the patient’s lower abdomen so that the donated kidney can be placed in. 2)      Next, to provide the kidney with the proper amount of blood supply, nearby blood vessels are attached to the freshly donated kidneys. 3)      And finally, the ureter gets connected to the bladder.   Risks and Complication   Though kidney transplant
